Due to the tragedy of the bridge collapse
in which so many people lost their lives in Minnesota in 2007, we will no longer be allowed to cross the bridges on the cinder
path. Before traffic can once again use the bridges they must be first inspected by a state bridge inspector for safety
and most likely would require modifications that would be far too expensive to be feasible. That said, the planners
of the Cinderpath Ride have rerouted with two alternate routes. One for good weather and one in case of rain.
Don't worry, part of the ride will still be on the Cinder path and in fact, we will all meet and start the ride in the same
place as always and we will end up for dinner in Humeston as always. While we will all miss the beauty of the bridge
crossings, there is sure to be some very pretty scenery along the new path as well. Check back as we post both the dry
weather and wet weather routes for you.
